Overview

Join us for a very special virtual tasting with Channing Daughters Winery, a jewel in the Hamptons. Atlantic breezes cool the vineyards, creating a climate hospitable to a wide array of fascinating grape varieties. Channing Daughters grows and creates wines from over two dozen varieties. The winery is located on a beautiful plot of land in Bridgehampton, NY that contains twenty-eight acres of vines, a small winery facility, and tasting room.

A VARIETY OF GRAPES

  • The winery grows a wider range of grapes than any other Long Island producer
  • The white grapes include Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Tocai Friulano, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscat Ottonel, Malvasia, Gewurztraminer, Ribolla Gialla and Pinot Bianco
  • Red varieties include Merlot, Blaufränkisch, Dornfelder, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Teroldego, Refosco and Lagrein.

WINEMAKER CHRISTOPHER TRACY

  • James Christopher Tracy was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.
  • His father is an automobile dealer, a former vineyard owner, a racing car driver, and a wine collector. His mother has been a nurse, is a master gardener and a great cook.
  • His family exposed Christopher and his sister Alexis to great wines, wine regions and foods from an early age.
