Freemans 3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Party
Come and celebrate a new tradition: an open bar cocktail party with copious amounts of canapés, oysters, discourse, and disc-jockeys.
A sit down dinner is the only thing it WON’T be. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their best outfit for this social event. There will be an open bar from 9pm-2am, including all of Freemans specialty drinks as well as a champagne toast at midnight. Guests can expect heavily passed appetizers throughout the night as well as a raw bar on the first floor. There will even be a cheese station! After purchase, please print your tickets and show them at the door for a wrist band which allows you access to a whole different kind of good time at Freemans Restaurant. If you have any questions please call 212-420-0012.
About Freeman’s Restaurant:
This low-profile restaurant came to life at the end of a nondescript Lower East Side alley in 2004. The idea was to recreate a “rugged, clandestine, Colonial American tavern”. It’s a taxidermist’s dream of a dining room, with specialty cocktails, and a homespun American menu. If you don’t feel like battling for a Hawkeye Sour during the raucous evening hours, order one (or two) on a peaceful Sunday afternoon, along with a plate of roasted pear pancakes, a slab of pan-fried pork schnitzel, and smoked trout with hardboiled egg. –Matt Mingle
